These terms cover your use of Gatekeep, a game for iPhone made by Keenan Kaufman (“we”, “us”). By downloading or playing the game you agree to them.
Your license
Gatekeep is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard License Agreement for App Store apps. These terms add to that agreement. Where the two conflict, Apple’s agreement wins.
Purchases
- Purchases are made and paid for through the App Store, under Apple’s terms. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Gems and coins are in-game items. They have no cash value, can’t be exchanged for money or transferred to another player, and are used up when you spend them.
- Remove Ads and the Starter Pack’s turret are yours to keep. If you reinstall the game or move to a new iPhone, use Settings → Restore Purchases to get them back.
- Gems and coins live in your saved progress on your iPhone. They can’t be restored once the game is deleted or progress is reset.
Ads
The game shows ads from Google AdMob. Remove Ads turns off the ads between levels; reward videos remain optional and play only when you choose to watch one. Ads are provided by Google and its partners, and we aren’t responsible for their content. See the Privacy Policy for what they collect.
Your progress
Your progress is stored only on your iPhone. We can’t see it, back it up or recover it. We may rebalance levels, prices and rewards in updates to keep the game fair and fun.
Fair play
Don’t modify the game, tamper with purchases or saved progress, or interfere with its ads in ways that break Apple’s or Google’s rules.
No warranty
The game is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be free of bugs or always available, and we aren’t liable for indirect losses from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
